Haven't harped about Crean in a long time, but he cost us this game. Missed free throws killed us at the end too, but it was the frantic subs in the first that put us down so much. Give these kids credit for making it a game tho. 7 players in the second half and we had a 9 point advantage. 11 players in the first gave us down 14 points.

We'll be ok...dug ourselves in too deep before we started playing similar to Fort Wayne. We'll bounce back with a couple of cupcakes at home and Nebraska followed by a big win against Louisville...Mark my words

Our ceiling is another Sweet 16. We have too many mental lapses that the coach can't/won't correct. It's the same year after year.

When teams decide to get up and down we have a chance. When teams slow it down and force us to THINK we're screwed.

No point guard no chance to win in March! Newkirk would be the perfect backup. Also somehow with all the size we remain soft. Soft wins at home with energy from our crowd. It does not win in big games away from THERE. Kansas  was a fluke at the beginning of the year. We play them again aND they murder us.

Green had 3 assists and no turnovers. Aside from the one 3 he gave up, I liked his defense too. Good game today in limited minutes vs a good team. Give him some more time against the cupcakes this week.

Not sure why everyone is going overboard here....Butler is not a bad basketball team at all. They're gonna be top 15 next week and I honestly won't be surprised if they win the Big East. Yeah we got out coached but we fought back and gave ourselves a chance after digging too deep of a hole. We're not going to win every game...nobody is for that matter but we have played good basketball the first 2 months and have huge wins over UNC, Kansas, and IMO we'll have another big win vs Louisville. At least wait until halfway through big ten season to start freaking out. This team is still young and still gelling. These games will go along way in helping us later in the season so let's just all chill out and at least get to big ten season before we go off the deep end
