All 3 are both gone IMO. And Blackmon may do exactly what Troy Williams did this year. He tested the waters last year.. I don't think the 'love' Bryant has for Indiana University trumps a potential first round selection. And why wouldn't OG leave? His stock isn't going to get much higher. I think you're living in a dream world if you honestly believe OG and Bryant aren't gone.

 

^^This^^. And if more evidence is needed, yes maybe we have a scholly player transfer, but CTC is recruiting as if he has those three spots + Hartman's to fill.

Man, I don't want to but I can't help but be curious about next year. Looks like a step back for us on the surface. We know Rojo will be a steady rock. Hartman back (possibly) and Juwan will be all over the place and then some. Next year feels like it rests heavily on Cujo/Davis/Green from my seat.

I don't think Blackmons size translates well into the NBA as a 2 guard and he certainly doesn't have the ball handling skills to run point. He is nowhere to be found in any mock drafts and most project Bryant to be a late first rounder or 2nd rounder and I just think he loves Indiana too much and will try to get his degree in 3 years and go pro after his junior year when he has guaranteed money coming his way as a potential lottery pick. OG without a doubt could go after this year but does anyone think he's in a hurry to go pro???

Blackmon may not show up on boards, but he will get picked. As long as he stays healthy and keeps shooting the way he is. Good shooters are hard to find in the league. Specially one that can creat his own 3 too. Not saying he will be a lottery pick, but someone will pick him. Still think he may play another year though. TB & OG arent your typical prospects though. TB didn't even test the water and OG didn't seem to care either. OG's situation changed a lot, but if there are any two kids that come back that are being first round projected those would be the two I bet on. Still think we lose 2 of the 3 though. They all deserve it too so I wouldn't blame any of them. We will be fine next year as well. Top 25ish.

OG is not top 10. Anywhere. Bryant is not top 20 either. Most have OG at the end of 1 and Bryant in the 2nd. OG should go, but we will see on Bryant.

Draft express has OG 9th & TB 20th Jonathon Giovanny their scout is one of the best. Besides Chad Ford most use draft express as a gauge for prospects.

By no means was I insisting they will all come back either. I believe all 3 are gone, but it's not 100% like most kids projected in the lottery or shortly after. I expect huge jumps from RoJo & Juwan next year as well as DD becoming a 12 & 8 guy next year. If Hartman comes back that is huge. I'd be fine w CuJo, RoJo, Hartman or Tucker, Juwan & DD our bench will be our main concern. If we can find 2 or 3 guys that provide good minutes we will be very good if not we will be good still just won't expect us to win a title.

We will have to see when they evaluate the rankings. Those were preseason rankings you posted. Their first mock on December 5th carried those forward. If OG is top 10, awesome. I don't believe it will happen without a strong 2nd half. Neither does pretty much anyone else. TB hasn't done anything to help his draft status. I think he is the only one of the 3 to consider coming back. I don't know either way and don't think he is the big loss of the 3. Anyone that has actually updated rankings based on play has dropped both. Hopefully OG goes in the lottery as that only helps us. No need to deal in absolutes with such a fluid topic. I do follow more than one website that hasn't updated rankings based on play. The player profiles you put in here are from the first part of October. Their mock carried over those rankings on December 5th. They haven't adjusted up and down based on play. I can't wait for the draft this year as it is really loaded. We will have surprise people stay and go.

Did I say we wouldn't? I SAID if we can have a cpl bench guys provide solid minutes we will be very good. That didn't mean the whole bench. EVERY team has bench players that provide solid minutes and some that just play. Lol thissssss guy

Thus far our defensive lapses have been on dribble drives not punished in the post YET.We will find that out starting w/Louisville & the big 10 teams w/size.We have TB,DD,JM&OG we should be formidable opponents should be worrying about our bigs.Keys again ,I know I wear this out,Turnovers & dribble drive defense..I think we'll continue to improve!!

I think Bryant would absolutely be the biggest loss of the three. Looking at the 2017-18 roster as it stands now, this team will have little to no inside depth and a 6'10 wide body who averages 12 and 8 and a couple blocks and can run the floor like Bryant can would be a HUGE loss.

OG's draft stock is really based on athletic ability, size, and his ability to finish around the bucket. I don't think any of that has changed. So I'd say your comments saying no one has these guys in the top 10 or top 20 is wrong, #1, but #2, I don't think it matters in the grand scheme. My opinion is that both are leaving along with Blackmon and whether they get drafted in the top 10, 20, 30, 40, it doesn't change the fact that Indiana will most likely have 3 very big holes to fill in 2017-18.

They very will may. We will have to see. That is my opinion. 2 of the 3 absolutely. The third? Not cut and dry. Again, my opinion. So we won't know that or where they get drafted for a bit.
