The bye was based on them winning the ACC. They were #6 in the CFP but top 4 conference champions automatically get seeded 1-4. Right now Boise State would get a bye. If IU plays like this the second half I can’t envision Miami staying ahead of them in the CFP.

Playing this style means your team basically has to play perfect from inside the arc. When you can’t get high school kids that are shooters to come to your program or transfer portal kids that are known shooters a staff might look at being 346th as the problem.
