I'd put my money on Kraft trying to push BB out, which is beyond idiotic, and thy wanted McD as their coach Josh 1 Quote
Dalton26 Posted February 7, 2018 Author Posted February 7, 2018 I bet they end up with Defilipo or Reich from the Eagles. That is better imo. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appI’d be thrilled with DeFilipo, Nagy was my guy but you all took him quick. Apparently the Colts had a feeling this would happen and already had 3 more interviews set up. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Josh and mdn82 2 Quote
Dalton26 Posted February 7, 2018 Author Posted February 7, 2018 If it backfires and he doesn’t get the NE job when B.B. retires he will probably never get another HC job now. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners A.j. Nigh and theriverpilot 2 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appHonestly as a bystander with no horse in the race I think this works better for the Colts. I think McDaniel showed he is not capable of leading a team. I would rather go for an upside unknown than a known 8-8 season for a few years. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Man I hope you're right. I know I mentioned him as soon as Pagano was fired, but I've heard from a lot of Denver fans since then. They passionately hate the guy. Now I do too. So now do we want another qb "guru" or go for a defense first type of guy? Seeing as how Pagano came from a defense first coaching background, I'm leaning towards a coach for Luck. We're paying Luck astronomical money, we need to max that out. thebigweave and mdn82 2 Quote
KingPG21 Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 ... So Rapport is reporting we're interviewing Fisher. If we hire him, the next three years will be unbearable, if Luck is healthy will be a complete and total watse Quote

Dalton26 Posted February 7, 2018 Author Posted February 7, 2018 Apparently Eberflus is staying with the Colts as DC even though McD backed out. I’m very happy to hear that. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners KingPG21, CR3AMnCR1MS0N and thebigweave 3 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 I grew up in Indiana, but am a Bears fan. For one, the Colts didn't arrive till I was in high school and for two, the Bears were much closer (45 minutes away). Still, I keep my eye on the Colts since they're my home-state team. I almost think they'll be better off now. To me, McDaniels just always came off as a total weasel -- and this doesn't dispel that. kbhoosiers, WayneFleekHoosier, Josh and 2 others 5 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBannersI don't know if I am. He's going to be forced onto a staff to a new coach? Not that he's a bad choice, but that can lead to toxic coaching staffs. Who's in control of hiring the assistants here? Another forced coaching atmosphere under Irsay Kor44 1 Quote

Aaron Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 To me someone who is not being smart in all off this and is going to regret what he is saying is Ryan Phillips. He works for Big Lead as a national reporter but also is a figure on the Assembly Call show always where the Colts and IU fan base cross over somewhat. Also a regular on Kent Sterling Show. Obviously entitled to his opinion but he immediately tweeted this was on Irsay for being unprofessional and that this is somehow on Colts. Seems like your angering a part of the hand that feeds you. Next interview with Kent Sterling will be fascinating and he's usually on 1-2 times a week. As for me I always was worried about dealing with a Pats guy and was afraid this could happen. Ballard had to learn the hard way and so much for the thawing he had done with Pats as reported earlier in week. Quote
KingPG21 Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Man, I know a lot of fans who tuned out because Pagano was still the coach this past year, could you imagine if they actually hire Fisher? Quote
