mdn82 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Good lord. Someone needs to tell Irsay to shut up, the dude makes the organization look worse every time he opens his mouth. Edit: Also apparently trying to do everything he can to drive the best player on the roster away as he can. He wants to be the Cleveland BrownsAs crazy as this may sound I think I would pick the Browns situation over the Colts for the upcoming years.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
Josh Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 Colts cut Vontae Davis today as the roster continues to crumble. Yeesh. Quote
HooHooHoo22 Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 Vontae was gone anyways. We have what? 65 mill or more next year and hopefully a top 10 draft pick Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Josh 1 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 The Colts imploded once again and there hasn't been a single comment made about today's game. How low they have fallen. Quote
TheWatShot Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Not much left to say anymore. Pretty clear Brissett isn't starter material and Pagano is just another annoying hurdle the team has to overcome. I saw he had just enough time to get another failed challenge in today before the game ended. Quote

HoosierAloha Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 I actually think Brissett is a serviceable NFL caliber QB. He would need a lot around him to succeed but isn't terrible. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners MIUGA and mdn82 2 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 Yesterday was a unique anniversary. Show of hands how many witnessed this happen? I did. On November 17, 1968, NBC angered viewers by infamously cutting away from the final minutes of a Jets/Raiders game to begin airing the TV movie 'Heidi' mdn82 1 Quote

HooHooHoo22 Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Ryan Shazier just went for a tackle and reached for his back. Couldn’t move either leg. Had to be carted off the field. Man that’s some scary stuff to see. I don’t see how you even finish the game seeing that Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

mdn82 Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 The Browns are the worst organization in pro sports and it's not close. Nobody would rather be the Browns, not even their own fans.I don’t think so. They have upside of picks and a front office attempting to be proactive, plus young skilled players. What does Indy have right now? A first round pick out for the year. A QB that his injury was a cluster and nobody knows what he will be. I would say the Giants are also in a similar spot of being a worse run organization. I am not saying the Browns have been a better organization but I would pick their current situation over the Colts any day of the week. The Colts were giving up 28 a game last I remember with an offense that is anemic at best. What is their upside? Is it more than the Browns here in a couple of years? The Browns are like the Jags from 2 years ago on steroids.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

They've had high picks for years and they're still terrible. They went 1-15 a year ago and they're winless right now. I don't get the Jags comparison either. The Jags were 5-11 two years ago. The Browns have had one season in the last decade where they won more than five games. Oh, and the GM who acquired these "young skilled players" just got fired today. Why would anyone want to work there? They fire people every year but nothing ever changes. Obviously we've been in the dark about what's going on with Luck, but I would take a healthy Luck to build around over anything the Browns currently have. The Browns are completely toxic when it comes to QB's. Sam Darnold has reportedly considered staying at USC if they have the top pick. I guess he doesn't know about all the talent and upside they have right now. Josh 1 Quote

Leading the D1 in turnovers and dropping in draft position won’t have any play in that decision am I right? Btw he has already come out saying that’s false. He won’t come close to the number 1 pick. That’s Rosen. Rosen outplayed Darnold all year and has every intangible Darnold has. Find me one current mock draft that has Darnold 1. “But I would take a healthy Luck.” Well yeah, so would anyone but he’s not. Not sure what you are trying to prove with two openly untrue statements. The comparison with Jacksonville was all about top ten picks in the draft. The Browns took analytics people and made a front office out of them. I didn’t say they were good, but I would no doubt take their CURRENT situation over the Colts. Don’t know anyone who wouldn’t that is lacking bias. mdn82 Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Wat, do you truly trust your owner to do the right thing? Take your fandom out of it. What right decision have they made in the last 10 years that was right and turned out good? Luck? That’s like saying the Cavs had a choice with Lebron. Since then they have two horrible hires. Very few quality draft picks. They have had the fortune of two QBs falling into their lap. Take those two QBs away and how does that franchise look? Now the second one is a huge question mark. The coach is gone. Again look who your owner has put in place to make these decisions without decent draft picks. Still confident? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
Josh Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 C'mon man. I'm as down on these Colts as anybody, but I'm not that far down. The Browns have been garbage for years. The Colts are nowhere near that garbage. You go ahead and gamble on the Browns. That ROI stays steady. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
