I'm a casual Colts fan so not sure where I fall in line here but how does Luck get blamed for the fumble? It would be like you getting trucked by a driver on a street that was supposed to be blocked. Yeah, you should kind of be looking out but dude just went through the barrier at 60. Doesn't make much sense to me.

The quarterback needs to be aware.  Especially when it's a consistent problem.  Have I mentioned it's a consistent problem?

I like him.  I just think it's ok to talk about his flaws.  So many Colts fans refuse to talk about it and instead yell at the guy who points it out.

See, it's kindof amazing to me that Luck somehow gets a pass on all of his turnovers. And there have been a lot of them. Why do you do that? Is he such a god in your head that you refuse to give him any blame?

Because he durectly gave the Broncos 14 points off of his turnovers. He needs to be held accountable.

I never said anything about the interception. You're just crazy if you are trying to pin that fumble on Luck

The consistent problem is a line that is forcing luck to make throws before he's supposed to.

When a QB has to take his eyes off the receivers and DBs to watch for the rush his effectiveness drops. Sure he needs to have some awareness but you need to trust your play which includes the blocking and the receivers running the right route.

There is not enough time to watch the rush and know where the holes in the defense are.

Man, the INT was on him. There was another pass he completed that should have been intercepted. He also had a d-lineman hanging on his leg as he made that throw. I guess he could just receive the snap and curl into a ball. He hasn't been great with turnovers but the line hasn't done much to help.

So...... What do u guys think about IU recruiting 6'10" guys from the HYPR and SRSC??? It's been rough on the recruiting circuit.

Not an issue as long as they're from Indiana.

Besides, I've heard Bryant is staying 4 years because he wants to hang 3 banners.

I've created a comparison in my head.  I apologize if it offends you.

Andrew Luck reminds me of Troy Williams.  When he's working smoothly, he's unstoppable.  Singlehandedly he can beat anybody.

When he's not, the turnovers can cause the team to lose to anybody.

I hope Good Andy shows up against the Chargers.

I get the comparison. At his best is a game changer, at his worst is a wrecking ball. But I still say Luck on his A game is still miles ahead of "good Troy", and that's not even necessarily a dig on Troy. We've seen Luck take a team with little talent to the playoffs multiple times and even will them to victory (that Chiefs game). I don't think Troy can do that. He has to be surrounded by talent to look good, he can't put a team on his back and take over a game. That being said, I cannot comprehend how Luck goes from top tier QB with pinpoint accuracy and stellar poise one week to turnover machine, overthrowing receivers all game, and looking lost the next week. Trust me the o-line (looking at you Reitz) and the coaching has some to do with his struggles, for example that fumble at the end isn't on him. But he just makes way too many boneheaded plays out there.

From the Indpls. Star:

Here we go again?

The Indianapolis Colts sure hope not.

Star quarterback Andrew Luck missed his first practice of the season Wednesday, resting that sore right shoulder of his. He said he anticipates practicing Thursday but will defer to the training staff and coaches to make the final decision.

The natural concern for the Colts, after watching Luck miss nine games in 2015: Is there a reason for alarm?

“I don’t think so,” Luck said. “But I don’t raise the alarms. That’s you guys.”

Of the seven practices the team has held during the regular season so far, Luck has been limited in three of them. This is the first time he’s sat out completely. He was rushed relentlessly in Sunday’s loss to the Broncos and took five sacks.

But it could just be the Colts being cautious. He was limited twice before the team's season opener against the Lions. Luck responded by throwing for 385 yards and four touchdowns. He was limited once last week and struggled against the vaunted Broncos' defense.

Asked he if expects to be under center on Sunday when the Colts host the Chargers at 4:25 p.m., Luck didn’t hesitate.

“Yes, yes, absolutely,” he said. “Absolutely yes.”

Through two games, the Colts have allowed seven sacks, tied for third-most in the league, and 15 hits, also tied for third-most.

Nothing the Patriots do surprises me because as long as Belichick is there they will always be good. Thats why I've always said Tom Brady is not near as good as people claim.

The pats are now 13-5 without Tom Brady.  Yeah I'm sorry it's the system not the QB.
