Yeah, but.......

Everyone will watch the SB hoping to see them lose. The jags?, not so much.

Good point. However, people like myself end up not watching the SB under the assumption that they'll just win another one. There will be diminishing returns on that dynasty*.

The end of the first half...
- why allow the Jags offensive possession to occur if it was a delay of game? I haven't seen a play completed and then that penalty called. A delay of game is called immediately.

I don't know, but I'd never seen a false start penalty called and then changed to offsides resulting in a first down either. As long as it benefits New England, it will happen somehow.

Thought it was pretty shady that no replays were shown of the Jags' apparent fumble recovery that was blown dead, or the bogus delay of game penalty you mentioned.

Any other Tom Brady fans on here? Or am I the only one. His ability to play at an MVP level at age 40 is incredibly to me.

I kind of like LeBron. Always have, don't know why.

BUT a LeBron fan AND a Brady fan???

That just ain't right.

Hahah. I don't watch much NFL, maybe a half dozen games a year max, but I've always been impressed with Tom Brady. Father Time's undefeated but he sure seems to be giving him a run for his money.

Every single opportunity to cheat the system doesn't hurt them either.

Was that mvp level that Brady played? I mean, it was good and all....but Brady's not the reason they won today. He just gets all the credit.

Brady was pretty pedestrian in the month of December. I think he was like 19th in passer rating and threw a pick in five straight games. The NFL is so weak right now that an average Brady is still viewed as elite.

New England really isn't overly talented on either side of the ball, they're just exceptionally well-coached and always seem to get every break. And right now they're doing it during a clear weak point in the NFL's history.

I didn't even get into the other calls just those few to turn the tide heading into the half. I actually missed one in that sequence. The Pats receiver being tackled inbounds and the ref stopping the clock.

The hold at the end was obvious but they refs aren't trying to enforce the rules of the game, on the Patriots.

It's happened for years and is a complete joke but if players and franchises are getting paid out the @$$ money who really cares.

College basketball and the NFL only reinforces that cheating wins.

For the sake of discussion, let's say Tom Brady never existed. Let's say Drew Brees played for the Pats all these years. Would they have less Super Bowls? The same number?

How about Aaron Rodgers instead? Or Peyton Manning?

The Patriots have been a complete team under Belicheck. Matt Cassell went 11-4 there. Jacoby Brissett won games. Jimmy Garoppolo.

Imo, the people who give all the credit to Brady don't understand football.
