Feel bad for Harris. Good kid who has had some bad luck. Would he be able to apply for a medical redshirt or has he played in too many games this season? How much eligibility would he still have left?

Their biggest lucky break was getting put in the weak division.

I agree with you there. I’m sure that helped play a role in Brohm coming to Purdue. Outside of Wisconsin, Purdue can make some noise in the next few years since they don’t have to deal with OSU/UM/PSU.

Well, you've had an opponent fumble inside the 5 yard line three times. I can't remember any team ever doing that against us, yet you've benefitted from it three times in just over half a season. You got bailed out on a fake punt that didn't work with a pass interference call (ever seen that? me neither). Michigan lost their QB to a scary injury and had to deal with that adversity. Your defense was gassed against Minnesota and got a lengthy lightning delay to regroup. You had an opponent commit 9 false starts. There are probably more; but I don't feel like reading Purdue boards all day to find any.

You make some very good points (kudos for the research too btw) but I think it has gone both ways. If you look at the game stats against Rutgers, Purdue won in basically every category. That should’ve been a win. Against Nebraska, there was a play when they ruled Nebraska’s player was down and it wasn’t a fumble. Replay was clear that he wasn’t down and it should’ve been Purdue ball. Against Wisconsin, we blocked a punt and the guy that picked it up pulled a muscle and fell over so it could’ve been a TD and we ended up getting no points after a missed FG. I agree we’ve gotten some lucky breaks but I think we’ve had some things go against us too.

Gotta think that's it for his career. Three ACL's for a guy who relies on his speed. Wish him luck whatever he decides. This has literally been a total disaster of a season when it comes to injuries.

Assuming he’s torn it in both knees? Couldn’t imagine if it’s 3 ACL’s on the same knee.

Not sure how Clemson is in front of all the other one loss and no loss teams. I would have thought that their loss to Syracuse would have them on the outside looking in.

Miami no loses weak schedule
Wisconsin no loses but easy schedule so far
Notre Dame lost to Georgia
Penn St. lost to Ohio St
Ohio St. lost to Oklahoma
Oklahoma lost to Iowa St.
TCU lost to Iowa St.

I don't think they got docked that much for the loss because their QB was knocked out of the game.

There will be plenty of arguments over the final 4. Can Norte Dame get in over Georgia if Georgia's only loss is to Bama? Can O$U get in over Ok if Ok goes on to win the Big 12?

It would make a really good 8 team playoff. [emoji2]

Two things they must be considering here. One - Clemson lost to Syracuse without their QB for the most part. Two - ACC is pretty stacked from top to bottom. There are hardly any truly horrible teams like the other conferences. They also beat #16 Auburn and #13 Va Tech. Think it comes down to the strength of schedule and quality wins.

Hard to argue with that. A lot of season left for things to play themselves out.

Indianapolis is a great place for sporting events. It should hold the B1G tournament and B1G championship every single year. I’ll be going to that playoff championship game as well. But anyway, Clemson-NC State on ABC. Should be a good one as NC State just went up 7-0

Oh my God. The Norte Dame punter just kicked one dead on the 2. As he's running off he's making the "feed me" move. Cause ya want to be feeding the punter. Funniest thing I'll see today.
