After this year our conference schedule will be significantly easier:

  • Instead of games every year against OSU, UM, and PSU, we have a total of three games in two years against them.
  • The teams that we play both of the years? Purdue, Michigan State, Maryland.

So, so much easier to navigate. Now only if we can get IUFB to suck way less.

So now we can't sell recruits on getting to play the best the B1G has to offer every year? :)

JK, this is so much better.

When I saw there would be 1-3 protected games per team, I wouldn't have been surprised to see IU's protected games as Purdue, OSU, and Michigan or Penn State to make sure those teams (the latter 2/3 teams, not PU) get their gimme games protected.

That's going to be the challenge.

Getting the team to not be it's own worst enemy when we play teams on our own skill level while we aren't playing the three headed beast each year will determine if we go bowling.

You forgot the fact we'll have back-to-back road games on Fridays and Saturdays.

Allegedly, there was 141 versions to the schedule before they got to the final one.

I imagine these were in 140 of them.

Hahaha…schedule relief could equal same success in win loss column but instead of getting beat by two touchdowns and a field goal plus a safety…maybe losses average just one touchdown and a field goal.

Over and Under…does IU football have a really good quarterback within the next decade (10 years)???

Ima gonna give you an ‘over/under answer’ to that question:

”No.”

So, it's like this; they give you a set amount of points the teams will score combined, and you bet if they will score more "Over", or less "Under".

If it's Iowa, always take the Under.

Pretty surprised to see about Pat Fitzgerald. I thought he was the All-American boy running the All-American program!

You could make the case that subjecting his players to their offense for the past few years is hazing on its own.

Fitz found one of *very* few things that could ever get him fired at NW. Unreal.

“According to the former player, team members allegedly identified players for “running” by clapping their hands above their heads around that player. The practice, the player said, was known within the team as “the Shrek clap.”

The Daily obtained a video of a player clapping his hands during a game, which the anonymous player said was the same motion taken to signify “running.”

According to the player who spoke with The Daily, Fitzgerald repeatedly made the signal during practices when players, specifically freshmen, made a mistake.

The player believes some players interpreted Fitzgerald making these signals as knowingly “encouraging” the hazing to continue.

“Everyone would just be looking at each other and be like ‘bro, Fitz knows about this,’ because you wouldn’t take that action otherwise,” the player said. “Everyone joins in, because he’s the head coach.”

Yeah, and I’m sure a guy in 1of the most detail-oriented and control-freaky occupations on the planet will have the audacity to claim ignorance.

I must be missing something here.  Running because of mistakes is fine with me.

The other stuff isn't obviously.  There's no way I'm taking that naked snap or going through the carwash lol

“Running” doesn’t mean running sprints. It means getting dry humped by a bunch of naked upperclassmen according to the allegations.
