If Texas doesn't get a first down and kicks the field goal, could be looking at Arizona State down three with one minute left and no time outs.

This didn't age well. I didn't expect Texas to kill themselves by throwing instead of running. Then their kicker choked.

We have seen that ASU's kicker sucks.

Review for targeting first, though.  Personally I think it was targeting but we'll see.

-- defenseless receiver

-- hit with crown of helmet

-- defender didn't launch himself though.

Don't know how they will rule.  Also don't know if the fact the ball was tipped plays a part.

No way that is not targeting, I hate the rule but you have to enforce it, even against the SEC!

I'm not surprised that they didn't call it. It really could have gone either way. I think it was the fact that he didn't launch himself that made it a no call. He obviously wasn't trying to hit him in the head, it just kind of happened.
