Marshall withdraws from the Independence Bowl against Army. Today may be Army’s last game of the year, which is a real shame. Fun team.

Wow that’s pretty crappy.  I get they have lost most of their team but really not cool to the other team

Louisiana Tech takes their spot. Have fun with that, Bulldogs.

36 players…all 3 quarterbacks…and head coach gone.

Nah I get it. Mostly on the Former HC for dipping out  Think teams should start including penalty clauses if the coach leaves prior to a bowl game.

Yep…I agree. 100%.

Really it’s on Marshall. His contract was expiring and they chose not to extend him. Which is kind of wild considering they won the Sun Belt, but I don’t know the details. Either way, tough to blame Huff here.

Maybe we can pick Huff’s brain on how to win @Notre Dame

Oh had no clue. Guy went 10-3 what more did they want.

Oh, Skip -- no matter how hard you try, nobody takes you seriously anymore.

I get that you're trying to get attention with your hot takes, but sometimes it's OK to stick with the mainstream.

I could write a thesis on why Cigs is the obvious choice six days a week and twice on Sundays, but here's a simple factoid for ya:

Nebraska 28, Colorado 10
IU 56, Nebraska 7

What a joke they went 9-3 and didn’t play a team that finished the season ranked

Allar returning to Penn State. Pro tip: if you have a QB playing in your program for 4 or more years, it's probably time for someone to move on because it means they aren't very good!

We have some posters around that area here right? I can't imagine many folks care about Norfolk football, but to my understanding Vick walks on water in those parts. Vick is basically my entire childhood, so I'm in. Let's do it.

Allar’s a pretty interesting case. He looks like he was created in a lab and his stats have been great for a couple of years. But when you watch him you never, or at least I never, think “Yeah, that’s a Guy.”

Exact same case with Levis. Not sure if it's a PSU "type", a development thing, or what. He'll go high in 2026 because he looks like he should go high, but can someone unlock him? That type of guy should carry a team to a title, but not once this year have I considered PSU a threat.

Levis is a good comp. I was thinking Carson Wentz but I think Levis is better.

Yes. I'm from the area (well, I'm actually from NW Indiana, but have lived here for 20-plus years) -- that's why I found this so interesting.

Norfolk State is an HBCU that put together a decent run a few years back -- won their conference and made the FCS playoffs. Even have a pretty nice little stadium -- seats 30,000 or so, but nobody ever goes. NSU football on its own doesn't move the needle. Hasn't for years. But Michael Vick coaching them -- that would.

Just taking exception, and perhaps trolling a bit, with the latter half of your statement to say he didn't play 4 years at Ohio due to not being any good.
