Tech drive for any kind of points would be huge and would probably end it.  As banged up as Tech's defense is, don't feel good about it if Georgia can tie it up.

Tech must now be missing 4-5 defensive starters.

So basically from 2020 to 2022, Georgia Tech’s current OC spent every moment that wasn’t working on UGA’s offense self-scouting Kirby’s defense. Finding all the holes in it, how other teams would try to exploit it, and it sure appears that he left a couple holes in it for down the road and is cashing in on it now. This is a masterclass.

So unless Georgia pulls this out somehow, have to think their only path into the CFP is to win the SEC title game.  Eliminates one path that would see IU out, which is A&M winning the SEC title game and getting an extra SEC team in.

Nightmare scenario for the SEC would be for Georgia to lose today, Texas to beat A&M and then beats Georgia in the SEC title game.
