Two big SEC games later:  A&M at Auburn and Alabama at Oklahoma.

Arizona State goes for it with a shaky kicker....running back went the wrong way and the quarterback had to try to scramble for the first down.  They don't get it.  2 1/2 minutes left, BYU takes the lead with a touchdown.

Arizona State blowing it.  BYU up to the their own 37 in two plays.  Two minute warning.

It would be better for IU if BYU lost as that would insure every Big 12 team had two losses prior to the conference championship.

With Penn State most likely ending this game.

A&M loss would be the next thing needed.

If IU loses to this PU team they don't deserve to be in the playoffs. Period. Doubly so since it's a home game. 

It doesn't matter at that point what other teams do.

Arizona State interception ran back inside the BYU 10.

BYU will get their second loss -- all Big 12 teams will have two losses or more.  Four way tie for first now -- no way they can be anything more than a one bid league.

I wrote that last week, so “next week” meant today, against OSU.

Penn State 9 yard run.  Will be fourth and one at the 14.  Can kick the field goal to go up 4 with under 25 seconds left or can go for it.
