There will be no “saving ourselves for the tourney.” The TV/fans won’t allow a watered down regular season plus big name schools spending the first 3 weeks playing Kenesaw St. 

I wholeheartedly disagree that a 24 team playoff devalues the regular season. I'm in the opposite camp. The "Bubble" fight alone will be intense af during the months of October and November. During those months a regular-season game will be acting as an elimination game for the dozens of teams mathematically alive. Not to mention the 1st round bye and home field advantage battles. Try to imagine a November home game in Btown where any one of these three scenarios are at stake. And this would happen every single year! But in the grand scheme of things it really doesn't matter what I think.
