My favorite new detail is that they will be incorporating the old floor and OLD (pre-video board...before the one they're currently replacing) scoreboard into the displays in the north and south lobbies.

I just wish there would be so much light in there like in the 4th picture. Also love they are removing all the blue seats.

We are in Brown County visiting and thought about driving over. Can you get in to see anything? Would love to take the kids over. They were born Hoosiers but we live in Ohio now. We do everything we can to make sure they know their roots. We are raising Hoosiers not Buckeyes.

Probably not. They moved the teams that had offices in Assembly Hall(soccer, tennis amongst others) to Memorial Stadium for the summer.

Is anyone else getting fired up?  TB is coming back----JBJ and RoJo should be healthy---a veteran and experienced team----Big Ten favorites---top ten talent---and a newly renovated Assembly Hall.  My son is going to be a freshman at IU next year and I told him he is going at the perfect time.  I cannot wait to see the Hoosiers next year and the updates to the best homecourt in college basketball!

I will say that it's super bright once you're actually down on the court. The first few times you look up it's a little blinding. But yeah, some of the seats are dark enough that it makes you feel like you're watching the previews at a movie theater or something.
