Looking to next season

I will take a graduate guy over thon BTW too. As long as he is skilled. We need more leaders next year and I believe Thon wouldn't start for us. OG and TB are both ahead of him in mock drafts. DD is vastly underrated and I feel will have a huge impact as well. I want a graduate wing/stretch 4 more than thon maker whether that is crazy or not just how I feel with losing yogis leadership.

I want another Biefeldt. Clearly we can develop even a grad transfer in an off season. Let's find another talented transfer.

Johnson/Newkirk/Green

Blackmon/Jones/Gelon

OG/Hartman

De'ron/Juwan

Bryant/Holt/Priller

My prediction: next season could be even better.

Sure won't be the same without Yogi.

Really like those line up possibilities. Looks like a good team. Priller and Gelon shorten the bench a bit. Need to stay healthy. JB worries me that he can't stay healthy.

I keep completely forgetting about Curtis Jones.  I honestly know nothing about him other than he seems to be a good scorer.

He is a complete x-factor next year. If he can provide good 3 pt shooting and perimeter defense, that would negate the loss of Yogi quite a bit.

It'll have to be a replace-Yogi-by-committee approach, which makes me nervous because 2 of the guards in the rotation will be coming off significant injuries: James Blackmon and Josh Newkirk.

That starting lineup could be nasty.

I mean we even have solid depth there, Hartman started most of this season, Morgan is pretty solid off the bench and I even think Curtis Jones will be helpful off the bench even if it's only for his shooting (though I think he can create some too).

That's not even mentioning Green and Newkirk too.

I think an improved OG and a healthy Blackmon can replace a lot of Yogi's offensive production. Someone needs to replace his leadership though.

I made the comment last night that Troy probably increased his draft stock by 30 spots .

If Bryant and Williams leaves, I'd it too late to land a stud that can play right away?

What? That isn't how the draft works.  Troy might have marginally improved his draft stock, but 30 spots, for a 21, 3 assists, 3 turnover, 2 rebound performance?

They were exaggerating, but he probably improved it as all 21 came in the second half against a very good team
