Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 I will take a graduate guy over thon BTW too. As long as he is skilled. We need more leaders next year and I believe Thon wouldn't start for us. OG and TB are both ahead of him in mock drafts. DD is vastly underrated and I feel will have a huge impact as well. I want a graduate wing/stretch 4 more than thon maker whether that is crazy or not just how I feel with losing yogis leadership. Walking Boot of Doom 1 Quote

Clearly we can develop even a grad transfer in an off season. Let's find another talented transfer. Quote

Andrewadams16 Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 I'd take Senior Troy over freshman thon next year. I couldn't agree more. Don't understand some of the hate or doubt for troy he's a phenomenal player and has had a great career. Would love to be able to watch him for one more year Sent from my SM-G920P using BtownBanners mobile app WayneFleekHoosier and Yogi's Picnic Basket 2 Quote

MadAboutIndiana Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Johnson/Newkirk/Green Blackmon/Jones/Gelon OG/Hartman De'ron/Juwan Bryant/Holt/Priller My prediction: next season could be even better. Sure won't be the same without Yogi. maxwell 1 Quote

JB worries me that he can't stay healthy. Quote

AKHoosier Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 I keep completely forgetting about Curtis Jones. I honestly know nothing about him other than he seems to be a good scorer. He is a complete x-factor next year. If he can provide good 3 pt shooting and perimeter defense, that would negate the loss of Yogi quite a bit. It'll have to be a replace-Yogi-by-committee approach, which makes me nervous because 2 of the guards in the rotation will be coming off significant injuries: James Blackmon and Josh Newkirk. Quote
MadAboutIndiana Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Holt? Just have a feeling he will be returning. Not just because he showed up the other night. His dismissal was different than the others Quote

I mean we even have solid depth there, Hartman started most of this season, Morgan is pretty solid off the bench and I even think Curtis Jones will be helpful off the bench even if it's only for his shooting (though I think he can create some too). That's not even mentioning Green and Newkirk too. Quote
Bowhunter Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 I made the comment last night that Troy probably increased his draft stock by 30 spots . If Bryant and Williams leaves, I'd it too late to land a stud that can play right away? Quote

I think an improved OG and a healthy Blackmon can replace a lot of Yogi's offensive production. Someone needs to replace his leadership though. ALASKA HOOSIER and biteoftheapple 2 Quote

Troy might have marginally improved his draft stock, but 30 spots, for a 21, 3 assists, 3 turnover, 2 rebound performance? HoosierAloha 1 Quote
