(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS

Recommended Posts

Risky proposition considering how good Floyd Central is.

Keep beating that dog..lol! Healthy Romeo and neutral court...won't happen again. Besides, NA looks to hitting their stride. Defense playing alot better and East has been a more reliable option. We'll see. Can't fault you Hicks!

Also if you don't think the IHSAA doesn't want Romeo in the state finals than you are crazy. They find a way to get the teams they want to advance.

Floyd Central is the better team. Romeo was throwing down 360 dunks so I'm not sure he was all that unhealthy. Floyd has the best defense in the state. They played that game without their star player in the 2nd half and their 6"6 swing man Hobson didn't even play and yet, they still won. Not that NA can't win, but I like the Highlanders here. More depth. Better defense. A lot more size and they've stymied Romeo the last 2 times he's faced them.

I haven't officiated a game down south this season so I don't know anything about FC but when your best player is in foul trouble the whole night, remember what I said. It's more money and more popular for HS basketball for Romeo & NA to advance in the state tourney.

When I was a student at FC in the Early '80s the Super Hick Logo was brought back.  I recall we had Super Hick shirts that we wore to the games.  Seems like we won the Seymour Regional almost every year I was a student.

Coach SS called James Miller to IU last week when most thought he was going to Florida State, so he has some credibility when he says Tim Langford wants his son at IU and Romeo is coming to that realization.
Because Tim sees the level of bball and coaching at vandy right now. You would hope Romeo is listening to him verses the pro style offense bs drew and the AD were trying to fill his head with. Vandys record speaks for itself. Kentucky this year is what vandy would be next year even with romeo.
