IU Men's Soccer 2016 Recruiting Class

Recommended Posts

Who was Mr Soccer for Indiana and where did he wind up?

idk. Gatorade POY comes out sometime this month, but Cameron Lindley from Carmel is the only 5* according to Top Drawer Soccer and he's heading to UNC. http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/search/?query=&genderId=m&graduationYear=2016&regionId=0&countyId=15&positionId=0&firstCharName=&pageNo=0&area=clubplayer

How has IU's soccer recruiting been the past couple of years?  Has it fallen off a bit?  Not trying to be negative, but 18th for a storied soccer program like IU doesn't seem all that great.

Don't put much stock into soccer recruiting rankings.

Similar to basketball easier to attract talent if their is playing time.  We return quite a few contributers IIRC.

The goal of this offseason needed to be scoring is all I know.  How many games did we lose last year because we couldn't score a goal, ugly ugh.

Another late addition.

Indiana University head men's soccer coach Todd Yeagley announced the addition of transfer Rashad Hyacenth to the team's roster. Hyacenth will have two years of eligibility remaining and is eligible to compete for the Hoosiers starting in the 2016 season.

A two-year standout at forward for Belmont University, Hyacenth was named Second-Team All-Horizon League in 2015 after tying for second in the conference with seven goals. During his sophomore campaign, Hyacenth appeared in 18 games with 16 starts, totaling 14 points, 69 shots and 29 shots on goal.

Among Hyacanth's numerous highlights in 2015 include two-goal performances against Lipscomb in the season opener and against Georgia State.

As a freshman at Belmont in 2014, Hyacenth earned 16 starts in 18 matches, recording two goals and an assist to earn Horizon League All-Freshman Team honors. Hyancenth totaled five points on the season and took 30 shots for the Bruins.
