KenPom sees us losing by 3. The game is unwinnable if the team from @Wisco and v. Minnesota shows up. The game will be a blast if the team from the prior 3 games shows up.

I didn't press the panic button after the UW and Minny games even though I was unhappy with a number of things from both.  However, I am aware of its location and will not be afraid to use it if we lose Tuesday night.  

 

In my opinion:

 

If we consider ourselves real contenders for the B1G title, we have to win this game. 

 

If we want to set ourselves up for a nice seed in March, we have to win this game. 

 

I realize we could lose this one and then win out and both of those would happen, but you know what I mean.  In reality a game on the road against a middle of the pack team is one you have to get for those things to happen.  Unfortunately, we are 0-1 already in these type of games this year (Wisconsin).  We can't afford to drop another.  

 

Heading into this February stretch I am both hopeful and cautious.  If I am honest, a loss tomorrow night pushes the scales toward the cautious bordering on pessimistic side.  A win no matter the margin or to be quite honest the perceived quality of our play given we are playing a decent opponent on the road, and I'm happy Wednesday morning.
