Unfortunately, I was in basic and then going to class/study hall for 16 hours a day in the early 2000s and couldn't follow as closely as I would have liked. Quote

HoosierTrav Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Born in 96, started paying a little attention in 2004 but really became a big time fan in 2007. Grew up in Ohio the son of a former IU football player brainwashed to hate all things OSU and worship all things IU. Starters G: Bracey Wright: he is the first Hoosier I remember rooting for and for some reason I absolutely loved him. He will forever be one of my favorite Hoosiers. G: Eric Gordon: He is one of the main reasons I fell in love with IU basketball. G: Mo Creek: I remember watching him drop 31 on pUKe and instantly falling in love only to be heartbroken by his struggles with injuries, still wish he woulda finished a Hoosier F: Cody Zeller: I will never forget him committing to IU and my older brother telling me that he was gonna be the savior of IU. F: DJ White: my all-time favorite IU athlete Bench G: Yogi: I know he's had his issues but I don't even want to imagine these last 3 years if we didn't have him. Also, I think being in Ohio and hearing OSU fans complain about him being here for seamingly 6 years helps my love for Yogi G: Matt Roth: I used to get so excited everytime he came in to see if he'd hit a three from even further than I had seen from him before F: James Hardy: I know he doesn't really count, but I am from a football family in Ohio F: Christian Watford: I loved him for so many reasons and will always be sad I didn't get to see the Kentucky game live, I was on a bus coming home from a wrestling tournament(I know wrestling and basketball don't mix but I gave up on playing basketball in middle school when I realized I was a slow and short kid who couldn't jump or shoot) Good post kid! If you don't mind me asking, who is your father? Side note: I was a teammate and close friend to James Hardy in high school. I didn't expect to see his name. Quote

HoosierTrav Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Any idea how James is doing? I know he had a rough patch recently. Last time I heard from him was the day before the fiasco in LA. He called a mutual friend of ours while I was at his home in San Diego. Said he wanted to come down to SD to get away from his children's mother..... Never showed and we heard the news shortly after. He's a good guy surrounded by demons. Could never shake them. Especially when he started having financial success. ALASKA HOOSIER and Hovadipo 2 Quote
