Indiana vs Creighton Post Game Thread

I agree with him.

Cody after 3 games v. TB after 3 games? I'd take TB.

Cody has everything he accomplished with the team and the timing of the commitment though. Cody is a better commit, TB is a better prospect. If he progresses like Cody did and sticks around two years? Wow. Watch out.

Agreed, I wouldn't say we had a complete game against Creighton and we won by 20+.  Troy didn't have a great game, RoJo and Max struggled a bit and we still had 86.

In RoJo's defense, he got hit with 2 or 3 awful fouls. He wasn't playing bad imo, just the refs were bad!

Max is the weakest link in the starting five and that's why he was expendable and a non-starter @ Michigan. However, because of the loss of Holt and Devin Davis he is good to have on the team. Troy could improve his shot selection. Good win tonight!

I agree and that's what I think Dakich is saying. If you put a freshman Zeller vs a freshman TB I think TB would eat Zeller for lunch. If TB continues to improve like I think he will I think by the time he leaves he'll be a much better player than Zeller.

I'm not taking anything away from Cody but I think TB is going to be an absolute monster, especially if he stays a 2nd year.

UNSELFISHNESS was on display tonight.

It was great to see JBJ and TB make some great passes to open teammates tonight.

Most importantly---the team was unselfish in that we finally started feeding the post and let The Big Fella (TB) eat---and he was certainly hungry tonight! TB---stay hungry, my friend!

This was my favorite part of JBJ's game tonight, his assists. When he does that, he becomes a much bigger offensive threat. To me, that could put him as our best offensive weapon by far. Made me very excited to see that!

Yeah those games where hes just out for himself the defenders figure it out and they know they don't have to worry about the pass.  Him dishing assists help him get his points later.  I think hes becoming a more well rounded offensive player.

That was a giant win for us tonight, but I really don't know how good Creighton is this year.  For some reason, I think this is a down/rebuilding year for them, not exactly one of their best years to be expected, and not the type of team and program that should give a legitimate IU team a scare or threaten Indiana anyway.

But we played them solid start to finish, something we don't always do.  We did not let them make a run, even when we went cold.  Second half, they made much better improvements than we did, and that was extremely disappointing.

Our defense seems better, but that could just be due to the talent level we just played maybe made our defense look better.  We left the back door open and allowed some drives down the middle too.

Glad we got a big win and we have the opportunity to add another against Wake in Maui.  Would be really nice to capture a tournament for once in what seems like a very, very long time.  We are going to have to beat some very good teams in order to bring back a trophy.

I am so tired of watching some other team win the trophy all the time now.

Fun game to watch. I love it when my Hoosiers play agressive on both ends. I took my son with me to the game and he remarked that the players work together so much better this year. Unselfish and cohesive. I like Max starting. I think he compliments Thomas. Max provides the physicality and Thomas gives verticality.

Damn our wings are explosive aren't they? You got Yogi and Blackmon who are two of the top scorers in the country and the human highlight reel himself in Troy Williams.

Then you bring in Zeisloft who is absolutely money from 3 and Robert Johnson who can score from nearly anywhere on the court as well.

Add in Thomas Bryant to that and my oh my this team can go places.
