Naturalhoosier Posted November 5, 2015 Author Posted November 5, 2015 All right, given our performance on Saturday, I think I'm ready to get my prediction on. Iowa has an elite defense. If we can move the ball against them, we can do it against anyone. They have an OK offense. They're no Western Kentucky. If they fall victim to the Curse of Iowish placed on Memorial Stadium, then we can do this. Corn-growing fools who just picked the same first letter as all the states around them - 35 Soybean-growing fellas who picked the letter first. Or not last at least. - 38 I'm freaking lost. Doesn't Indiana grow both Corn and soybeans? I mean, there's more than corn in Indiana. I don't know Iowa's agricultural climate well enough. Do they grown soybeans too? thebigweave 1
Dalton26 Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 I'm freaking lost. Doesn't Indiana grow both Corn and soybeans? Yes they do. Lol
MartintheMopMan Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 I'm freaking lost. Doesn't Indiana grow both Corn and soybeans? I mean, there's more than corn in Indiana. I don't know Iowa's agricultural climate well enough. Do they grown soybeans too? Yeah, technically. But, Indiana corn is less frequently going to leave the state. Iowa is by far the largest producer of corn anyway with over double of Indiana's production. Indiana is more of an animal farming state. Pigs and chickens I think. But, they do produce the fourth most bushels of soybeans in the country, and it's Indiana's highest rated crop in terms of production so... that's all I've got. I always said the most Indiana drive ever was connecting to 69 through Martinsville where a big field of soybeans was on one side of the road and corn on the other. thebigweave 1

Confirming is all.

Maybe you should take this opportunity to brush up on your facts about the major industries in the all the states wherein a school we'll play is located. thebigweave, bdt224 and IUsafety 3
RBB89 Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Iowa: 56 IU 28This would really, really surprise me. I'll say Hoosiers win 33-30.
jmsgws Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 This would really, really surprise me. I'll say Hoosiers win 33-30. I really hope your prediction wins out. I am in that dark place I seem to always get to with being a fan of IU Football. Whatever hope I had for the season was dashed with the Rugers loss.
lucel15 Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 I say screw it iu finally beats a top team this year after fighting against OSU and then spuddering against sparty IU 38 Iowa 21 We win out. 8-4
