Ha whoops. It's actually going to be embarrassing. I also think while Dakich's thing is an okay idea the execution is going to be pretty cringey and it'll be an all around embarrassing day for the football program. But that's for another thread I guess!

Agree about the Dakich thing. I actually cringed when I first heard about it and it just keeps getting worse. A couple people will pass by but I think that's about it. And they got moved away from the Hoosier Village area.

I think the dakich thing has a lot of potential, but also a large chance of being a bust. Depends on how the crowd is for it honestly, and seeing as how most people in the IU fan base despise DD, I don't expect it to be very successful.

As for the game, I actually expect us to put up a fight. All depends on Nate (he's been somewhat hobbled this week as well) and how well J Howard can run in space.

I was confident earlier in the week, but whenever a game nears I always feel we will lose. Not just IU, any team I cheer for. If we dominate TOP, anything can happen. Gotta play to our strengths and that's Howard/redding and the O-line

You aren't the only one, but I find it fascinating that the team is playing well, gets a big stage and a sellout crowd, and yet we still have people worrying that it's going to be an "embarrassing" day for the program.

The SAB and Crimson Guard have tweeted about making signs and making a Gameday like atmosphere. There's going to be plenty of people in the mood to party.

I can't believe I'm defending Dakich, as he's a giant ass on his show typically. He'll get a decent showing on Saturday though. Beer sells. Heck, #dakichgameday was trending for a while.

Didn't know that so people will probably show up, but not necessarily the demo they're aiming for. Underage kids make up a good portion of the college crowd and they won't be able to party there. It won't be the classic gameday atmosphere.

Oh of course you can't recreate the actual Gameday atmosphere. He'll get a solid crowd though.
