If we beat the #1 team in the country and were 5-0, we would most definitely be ranked. We are already receiving votes.

I've not seen us receiving votes in any poll I've looked at.

I'd still be shocked to see us ranked if we win. I just don't see the voters doing it, although I'd love it if they did.

I think it would be better if we got a bunch of votes but no ranking. Keep everyone on their toes with something to really keep working toward. I have no idea how/where we got those 2 votes either lol.

We would be ranked if we win, no question about it. We'd be 5-0 with a win over the #1 team in the country. There is no explanation as to how a 5-0 team that beat the best team in the country can't be in the top 25.

My guess? 30-35% so about 16k-18k!

I'd put money on higher, probably over 50%.

The reason being that Indiana is one of OSU Fan's favorite places to travel. We're close to Columbus and have great seats available for good prices with nice facilities. So, they all surely bought their tickets to this game early to have a nice fall game day for the start of conference season.

Indiana fans just started buying their tickets this week after we went 4-0.

Glass said earlier this week on the Dan Dakich Show that 5K of the 52K tickets were Ohio State. Now I'm sure that some IU fans sold their tickets and some of those buyers happened to be Ohio State fans but I expect there to be a lot more IU fans that usual for a home IU/Ohio State game. Like a lot more.

I find that very hard to believe. Did he have any comparison stats for previous years? Like, is 5k fewer tickets than Ohio State fans usually buy? Because in previous years, Ohio State fans have been in the majority, so I would be interested to know if they achieve that majority through the primary or secondary markets.

I bet that's just the amount they gave to Ohio State to sell. In past years, my guess is most fans have sold their tickets which is why they've been the majority.

I was at the 52 - 49 shootout a few years ago.  There was a big crowd, but not a sellout.  There were certainly a lot of Buckeye fans there, but no way there were more Buckeye fans than Hoosier fans.  Think maybe it just feels like there are more Buckeye fans sometimes because of how loud and proud they typically are during the entire game.  Let's hope the Hoosier faithful can drown out the Bucknutz tomorrow!.  Go Hoosiers!  Shock the world!
