Who Do You Consider IU's Top 3 Rivals?

I think Maryland will be near the top of this list soon. 2 great games last season. One blowout.. These two schools will battle for recruits and have close games for years to come in my opinion.

Purdue and Kentucky are 1 and 2, then it's a tossup between Michigan/Ohio State/Illinois/Maryland depending on where you stand with those schools.

 

Maryland would be a good little rivalry to start happening, and I bet the B1G would like that rivalry to start so they can incorporate them into the conference a little better.  I feel like this rivalry will have some really good games this year.

I'm almost to the point where I don't hate Purdue so much. I absolutely HATE losing to them! But half the time I'm kinda glad to see them beat Illinois or Wisconsin. Sometimes you gotta respect the other Indiana schools (Butler, Notre dame, etc..)

I've always said Purdue first and foremost. Probably because of my background going to school with a bunch of Boiler fans. UK is a close second.  Third is a tough one for me. Never really thought of Illinois as a rival although it did get a little heated with Loo Doo in the mid eighties and the whole Gordon thing.

3)Illini- because I grew up in Illini country and they absolutely hate IU and will never let us live down the 2012 loss in champaign

1. Is and always will be UK. hate the team, the coach, the fans, the state.. It's all garbage, who has ever heard of blue grass!!!!

2. UofL... They are part of that damn state... Their fans are nearly as arrogant, especially after the last few successful seasons.

As a southern Indiana guy---I also have to go with UK as 1---Purdue as 2----and UL as 3.  If we keep the series with UL going---I see them moving to 2 in the near future.

Not sure you can add UK to the list as a rival at this point.  I mean what do we play them in?  Neither hoops team play, the FB team does not.  The only one that I am pretty sure we play them in is baseball, not sure that can be construed as a rivalry anymore.  I mean we can still hate them, but tough for me to consider them a rival when we basically never play them in anything anymore!
