Do we have any cornhole players here?

 

A friend and I recently started making them and it's kind of a newish thing here in Hawaii.  I would like to hear any stories you have or show pics of the boards you've made.  When I find time I'm going to try to do an IU set.  One will be Branch McCracken court and still trying to figure out what I want to do for the second.

I've been craving something to build in my shop lately since I've been too busy for a few months. This might be something good. Can I steal your McCracken Court idea for one? Maybe the other is a beach scene

Of course you can steal it. The more promotion for IU the better. I was thinking of the outside of Memorial Stadium or Assembly Hall too.

I play down here with my neighbors in Virginia all the time. Let's just say they quality of opponent in Virginia isn't the same as Btown. I was pretty good in Indy, I'm a God in Virginia

I like how you stained the plywood before painting over it. Good look.

That 49ers logo is butt ugly though.

We connected them with latches so they sit flush together. You can kind of see the gold latch on the side in this pic.

Thanks, we are both woodworkers and wanted a more classic look.  The learning curve was steep!  If you have any questions when you go to build a set let me know.

 

That's actually the second set of 49ers boards we've done.  When the first customer came to pickup his boards we showed him a Cowboys set.  He was not happy.  haha
