I really hope this is a joke. Lol. For one, he's gotta championship and many final fours in the last 20 years. One of the best tournament coaches ever. Things happen. Cream is still at IU. Izzo is there to stay.

Wake me up when Crean has even a fraction of the success Izzo has had.  If Crean did we'd give him a more leniency, just like we did with Bob Knight and his antics.  I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me Izzo took 5 guys from the Y to the Elite 8.

 

EDIT:  With that being said, I do think more should've been done when it comes to some of the off court issues his program has had.

It was totally a joke. Just pointing out the fact that these issues aren't only at IU and coaches only have so much influence. Kids will do kid stuff.

Thank goodness we didn't take a risk on Harris though. He was a bonehead at WV and is still living up to that title at MSU

Agree with the rape thing.  I believe Adrean Payne was one of the players involved, which is why I always rolled my eyes when I saw him praised heavily when he befriended the little girl dying of cancer.  I realize you can't believe everything you read and false allegations happen, but there seemed to be compelling evidence that this was covered up a la Jameis Winston.

If that rape story (which I had not heard until now) is true then I'm losing a lot of respect for Izzo. Being caught drinking underage is one thing but rape is just too much.
