Tonight's King of the Bluegrass game - Al Durham Jr with 16 first quarter points as Berkmar is tied with Trinity at 19. Al missed just one shot. 3-4 on threes.

Update:  Al Durham has 20 but Louisville Trinity leads his Berkmar team at halftime, 44-30. #iubb He's 8-11 FG

Update:  Trinity leads Berkmar after three quarters, 55-47. Al Durham Jr has 25.

Final:  Trinity beats Berkmar, 73-69. Indiana signee had 30 for Berkmar. He was 4-for-7 on 3FG.

Al Durham should be top 100. This is the kind of kid that ends up at Penn State and becomes Taylor Battle, Tim Frazier, or DJ Newbill.

Congratulations to Al Durham for being named Most Outstanding Player at the Roundball Classic. Avg 16.5 ppg, 6.9 reb

Durham's team participated in the Roundball Classic in Charleston, SC and went 2-1.

They won their first game against Wando (scorecard above) and lost their second game to undefeated The Burlington School (NC) 68-57 - no game stats found.

Today Berkmar defeated GAC 62-56:
CHARLESTON, S.C. — Gwinnett County neighbors Berkmar and Greater Atlanta Christian squared off against one another, over 300 miles away, in the third place game of the Roundball Classic on Thursday. Berkmar came out on top with a 62-56 win over the Spartans.  Jay Estime led the Patriots (11-5) with 20 points and eight rebounds while Al Durham contributed 16 points and six rebounds.

Durham is playing extremely well. What excites me most about his game is his ability to get in the lane and draw fouls while doing it. That is something our team needs more of since Yogi left.
