Preakness Stakes

Recommended Posts

I think he can take Belmont. Most horses who have gone 2 for 3 have had close finished at KY and the Preakness due to the relatively short lengths. Pharaoh is fast AND has outstanding endurance. He's built for the Belmont. I think the streak ends here.

it'd be really fun to see. I'm excited to meet the new horses though and see who his biggest challenger will be.

I'm so bored with the buildup to the triple crown.  It seems like half the years of my life there's a horse that has won the first two....then people get really worked up about it....then it doesn't happen.  Maybe I'm jaded, maybe I never really cared in the first place.  Horse racing....meh.  More boring than baseball.

Let's not get excited and crown this horse the next triple crown champion already.  I realize that everyone is all excited about the lat one and thinks that we should have one every year now...got to let it play out...that is the great part about it...the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat...and all that jazz (Plus everyone thought it was a forgone conclusion that UNC was going to win it all and look how that turned out).

Plus, if you ever have the chance to go to Pimlico, especially for the Preakness, I highly recommend it.
