Way Too Early Top 25

Purdue has a real sharp shooter coming in Cline from Carmel.

Not super athletic but a VERY good shooter.  They have an undersized kid coming in that I'm surprised is even a D1 player.  They lose Octeus and ???

They lost Bryson Scott to transfer, and a PG commit from Tech named CJ Walker (I think). It looks like they're pretty short at PG right now for next year.

Why cant these guys grow a pair and pick someone other than UK. They are losing their whole core potentially. Maryland at #5 is interesting.

I've seen a lot of UNC and UVA at #1. ACC looks like it'll be fun to watch. I'm planning on looking at the B1G once we know rosters.

Sweet 16 should not be an accomplishment anymore... This is IU we're talking about. We sound like a midmajor's fan base whose goal it is to make sweet 16 every other year. Elite 8 or final 4 should be goal. Whatever coach brings us back to that mindset is the right one, whether it's crean or not.

I wish that were the case, I really do.  I just think that two decades worth of mediocrity has changed the program's expectations or goals as you say.

Yea, not sure when/if the NCAA is gonna come down with a ruling on them, though.

No doubt it will be later rather than sooner.  My hat's off to Tennessee for taking the bull by the horns and axing Tyndall the way they did.   Then there's the other side like Syracuse and UNC who've been caught redhanded as hell with major academic issues spanning years and Boeheim and Williams are still going on their merry way.  That's as mind numbing as seeing that Dave Bliss has gotten a college coaching position.  NCAA = No Cajones Across America.

So ESPN has Maryland top 5, then say IU has the best starting 5......but put us at 16th. Our bench is solid and the only thing keeping is that low would be coaching.

My expectation are still the same as they were before. We have a top 10 team for sure and maybe even top 5 (Still want to see how all the final roster changes shake out). What other roster is starting 3 McD All Americans and have expierence? I don't think there are more than 5....UNC, Kansas, Duke, UK...

We can beat Maryland, especially now we have a big. We won't be the preseason favorites by the media but we are the best team in a loaded conference. If we fall short it isn't because of talent level......if you know what I mean.
