2015 Transfers and Early Entries

Recommended Posts

Terrible lol? I can't tell if you're kidding

No he's serious.I watched it too.

Being post up drills neither one showed the ability to be overpowering.Maker and Skai both could use 25 lb's and the weight room.

I also noticed Thon bobbled the ball a couple times on the entry and that was a bit concerning.

I really don't think post play is Thon's strength but he can step out and shoot.

If yogi leaves I think we should look into getting Dylan Ennis from Villanova. Great strong point guard. Averaged like 10ppg.

The longer it takes to learn what Yogi intends to do the less likely we can find a solid replacement from JUCO or 5th year grad transfers as the pool of competent replacements dwindles as they commit to other schools.  I would certainly hope that CTC and Yogi have had lots of conversations and are on the same page.

Yes I am starting to get worried he is gone. But boy I hope not

Very first thing that came to my mind when I had seen he was moving on from Nova.

That's kind of how I see it. I don't really see them landing in the NIT, but probably struggling at times during SEC play before peaking in March.

One thing that really stands out to me is the difference in their fans' reactions toward this compared to what you'd likely see here. It's amazing how having a coach with a strong track record for success can instill such a strong sense of confidence in the fans. They just lost 70% of their team to the NBA and their fans are excited about what the next class will bring, whereas we had fans who were scared to death that a coaching change would destroy the program.

We weren't scared of a coaching change. We were concerned that it would be a knee-jerk piss-poor hire.

Saw Doug Gottlieb and Jeff Borzello report that Nigel Williams-Goss is transferring from Washington. He would have to sit out a year, but would have two years of eligibility remaining.

Good replacement for Yogi huh?

Gtown at this point
