A100, WTF is that?  lol  When I was in school the first two accounting classes were Intro to Accounting Principles  A-201 and A-202....Intermediate Accounting messed with some, not me, as did F-301 Finance. Then you had  Tax and Auditing etc but that was for you BEAN countin boys!

Freshman accounting for non-business majors, I would imagine.

Based on everything I've gathered neither were "Creaned." I'm not sure that matters, facts rarely do. The perception is that everyone who transfers from IU was forced out by Crean and that doesn't bode well on the recruiting front - especially in-state.

I saw some back and forth on whether Crean did his due diligence while recruiting MH and have to say I'd side with Wayne on this one. I can't recall the exact details of the recruitment but remember talking with people who said it all happened really fast and the common thought was it was a knee-jerk reaction to losing out on Devin Robinson. I realize MH committed 3 days before DR committed to Florida, but the word was pretty concrete directly after DR's visit to UF and definitely after KJ's last ditch CV effort. I know it was pretty concrete because it got to me, which means the staff was fully aware.

Anyways, best of luck to MH.

Thanks for clearing that up!

False. It was a weed out class to get into the business school. All B School students had to take it.

At least when j was there in 2005 I had to take it first semester freshman year. 8 week class. Consisted of two grades. Mid term and final.

I wasn't a business major, but I had to take A100 cuz I needed A201/A202 for my major.

Maybe ethics needs to be used to weed out a few more

I'd put a stop to it, but honestly I'm just glad at least one thread isn't non-stop complaining.

Except for the complaining about business classes discussion in the Hoetzel transfer thread.
