IUBB vs WSU Postgame :( Thread

A good image?? In the 7 yrs here CTC has NEVER gotten a Tech. I WISH he would take a page from the RMK book of genius coaching and get one every once in a while. A well timed tech is a way to fire up your team, your fans, and get a refs attention and reverse some bad momentum.

Sure he has.  Got two and the boot at Wisconsin a couple years ago

They probably just thought he was yelling lets go, lets go like he did after every VanVleet layup throughout the game.
When the coach runs up and down the court the whole game clapping and screaming the same thing it probably gets blocked out.

thats funny that made me laugh but if u really feel they couldn't tell a difference then that's still on the players for not being able to tell the difference between someone yelling "foul" and slapping his arm repeatedly and him clapping screaming "lets go". Someone should post a gif of him screaming foul and slapping his arm

i think the fact that he was on tape giving the foul sign slapping his arm like a mad man for 10 secs and the players still didn't foul give a creditable argument that in this case (no video proof on cody not listening) the players didn't listen to him

Frankly, it doesn't really matter.  It's still on him if the players don't listen to him, and it's a glaring indictment.

It's part of his job to get through to them.  If they don't have enough respect for him to listen to what he's saying, then no it's not a good sign for him.

The problem with everyone saying we get a solid big man and we're good implies Crean actually knows how to and will utilize him. We had one of the best big men a couple years ago in Cody and Crean barely used him. Why would next year be any different?

The real problem Glass faces is the fan base. Crean has already lost a large majority of us. As sad as it may be and as much as you may not like it, Assembly Hall is going to have some empty seats next year if Crean is still our coach. Long term speaking, Glass seriously needs to consider a change. What has he seen from Crean that shows him he's seriously capable of hanging banner 6?

Who do you think is responsible for holding them accountable?

We ran into a nightmare matchup in Syracuse and you know what? If we actually could have hit a few shots that game it would have been a different story. Never understood how that one fell on CTC. We shot 33% from the floor and 20% from 3. And would any coach in the country get Yogi or JBJ or Troy to Bloomington? You are ignoring his best qualities(recruiting) and highlighting the bad only. Of course he needs to grow as a coach just like a player should grow his skills, but I feel like he is so over criticized it is almost unbelievable.

Maybe if he hadn't Creaned Roth, we could have had a shooter hit a couple of those shots you are referring too.

Or maybe if he made an adjustment after realizing his point guard Hulls had a terrible shoulder, couldn't dribble with his right hand and couldn't shoot because of said shoulder.

Or maybe if he realized that Remy Abel played point in the Sweet 16 a year before and could have helped in that game. Then didn't Crean him.

Or maybe if he would have utilized Zeller like Bo Ryan is utilizing Kaminsky.
