Thoughts on the jerseys?

Not so much the jerseys as it is the shorts. That big stripe is painful.

When I first saw these I was so happy we didn't go with the stripe... UofL had that stripe design all year and I (along with my wife who is a UofL fan) have hated them all year.... I saw most of the Addidas Tourney uniforms had that stripe but not ours!!!! THANK GOODNESS for tradition!!! :biggrin:

definitely in the minority but I thought the jerseys were just ok.  Would really like if we had alternates similar to what Kansas has past couple of years.  The script Indiana would look great on the front similar to this script jayhawks.

These alternates would be a great transition to a more modern uniform. Like many have said - small updates, more modern cut, and homage to our tradition. I'd still love to see script Indiana. Maybe next year's alternates, I suppose.

 I love the Script Indiana idea. Little off topic but I'm putting an Indiana Hoosiers themed sports bar in my basement. One wall will be entirely Crimson with a huge script Indiana sign on it. I'll be sure to post pics once its completed.

yes I was referring more to the white ones than the grey.  Just an example that Adidas can come up with an interesting design.  My issue with the BTT uniforms is that they were too similar to our current design.

I believe that is IU's doing. Many other Adidas schools had different uniforms but I've read in the past that IU had to give approval even on the past season unis and that Glass has told Adidas they can do whatever they want to the football uniforms but that basketball would only allow minor adjustments

I agree with his position on this to a point.  I never want the Hoosiers to be wearing the zubaz sleeved jersey Adidas had 2 years ago.  And I hate the look of the all red including numbers that Adidas unveiled that same year and are available online.  

 

I like those Kansas whites bc they are creative and different while maintaining the clean, classy look you expect with Indiana Hoosier uniforms.

These jerseys were awesome.  Almost no striping, just IU logos.  I hope we switch to them forever.

Hate Hate HATE the v-necks. I've never like them. These jerseys would be great if not for the wide shoulders and v-necks.
