BTT: #7 Indiana vs #2 Maryland 6:30 EST on BTN Game Thread

That and the fact they haven't been sitting around for a week I think will have a little effect. Nothing game changing, but I don't think it hurts us.

Not sure I agree with that. RoJo and Blackmon have been playing a tad weary lately. Given the minutes and contributions last night, they concern me energy-wise. One game shouldn't make that much difference, though. If we can somehow get to Sunday, though, I'll be more concerned...although we will have made the tournament and climbed above the 11 seed if we do.

I'll be worried once we get to the weekend but tonight I'm not worried too much about energry. I think if anything, last night will give them a boost coming into today. They wiped the floor with NW and that's a HUGE confidence booster for Rob and Jim as freshmen. If (when) we win tonight I think tomorrow they'll look a little slow, but these guys are high level athletes. They should be able to manage playing back to backs. Unless their shootarounds turn into running sprints...I kid. :)

This is our night to beat Maryland!

Yes, we will have an advantage of playing one game already on that cavernous arena, particularly in the first half before the Terps adjust.

Therefore, the Hoosiers will need a 10--12 point lead going into the half then leave it all on the floor in the first 5 minutes of the 2nd half.

I think we will do it but the gas tank will be on fumes after this game!  72-68 Hoosiers!

Another game I won't be able to watch live! 10th anniversary dinner.

The traditional 10th anniversary gift is tin/aluminum so I suggest a can of beans and an aluminum foil wrapped sandwich warmed in the microwave.  And should you foolishly follow my advice, I don't think you'll have to worry about an 11th anniversary dinner.

Yes, I dont think having to play the extra game hurts us til maybe Saturday. Definitely hurts Sunday.

Tonight is the important game.  Winning on Saturday and/or Sunday would be fantastic but I don't think that would significantly impact our tournament seed.  Tonight's game on the other hand...............!

This might be backwards thinking, but anyone think IU might have a slight edge tonight since they've already played a game on that floor and developed a feel for the court and rims?

Playing a game might help us early, but fresh legs might be in their favor in the second half. Need to get off to a good start.

20 minutes to tip biznats...
I have no idea who's on the call...
I'm gonna call this tho...beer's going down like a fresh water's spring...

As long as you can tell the difference between the 2 teams on the floor, and can see if a ball goes through the hoop, there's really no reason to stop either. Names and numbers are just a bunch of line jumbled together.
