The risk to us is that the draft this year is really weak. Yogi is never going to be a high pick, might he decide that he would rather leave in a weaker draft than a strong one? Plus, no one from the NBA starts paying attention until March anyway. A strong showing in the tourney could make the cases for anyone. I hope they stay but who knows?

I thought I heard this was a deep draft?

When was that last updated by them? Honestly the only one I'd be confident about in the NBA right now is Troy just because he is a freak athletically. JBJ I think could take maybe 3 years, seriously he has a ways to go outside of just shooting the ball

Something about Yogi just makes me think that there's no way in hell that he decides to leave Indiana early. He just doesn't strike me as one of those guys that wants the money. Neither did Vic but when your the #2 pick you can't pass that up. I believe yogi just is the ideal college basketball big ten player

That's not at all what I've heard. I've only seen it mentioned that this was a particularly weak draft, where have people seen the opposite?

The SI draft guy said the same thing, but I can't find where it was. I just remember the article.

My opinion is just my opinion, from watching the guys that will be in the draft. Not quoting anyone but myself. There is some really good young talent mixed with a few good upperclassmen.

Yogi and Crean I THINK have an awesome relationship. His mom posted a pic on Instagram saying this is why they love Crean. He will not transfer from IU due to Crean, his state, & he'd be THE MAN and one of the Graats. He hates to lose and doesn't quit. That doesn't equate to transferring. If he thinks he is ready to leave and he is satisfied with his accomplishments at IU, then so be it. I support him either way.

I don't think these guys get quite high enough on the list to make the jump to the NBA this year. BUT, Yogi with a degree scares me about a grad transfer.

Yogi as a grad transfer would be totally shocking and seems incredibly unlikely.

SI is a freaking joke. Also everything they do with the draft is comically bad

Yeah this is were I am with this draft. Don't really get the weak draft comment. I mean Okafor, Mudiay, Russel, and Towns all look like potential perennial all stars with the right development. There are a number of projects who could be real good, Looney, Turner, Alexander, Oubre, and Winslow. The veteran college guys are good, and international class is good. Might not be as good as last year's, but this isn't a weak class like the Vic class, were outside of Vic and the Freak there isn't much h worth liking

I think Okafor is a borderline franchise guy without a whole lot of room to improve, but is already very good. Russell and Towns will come into their own and dominate eventually. Cauley-Stein could get there with some offensive work. Looney is a freak that could blossom with help of a pro staff. Then internationally Kristaps Porzingis is a solid stretch 4 and Mario Hezonja really young and immature, but is a 6'8 2 guard with big time athleticism and scoring ability. He might benefit from a few more years in Euro ball though.

I'm probably higher on Okafor's upside than most. Not the biggest fan of the comparisons to Jefferson. I'd go as far as saying he is as close to a franchise guy in the draft that we have seen in a while. Agreed on the other guys.

Kind of off topic, but going to draft services not named Draftexpress is always kind of funny. Not many seem to buy into Russel, just calling it hype. Sorry but that kid is for real
