Michigan Vs Indiana Post Game Thread

I'll give Yogi credit. When he gets switched on to that bigger man he works his ass of trying to stop him and a lot of times does a better job than our bigs. I think he has really improved as an intelligent, determined ballplayer this season. Much better than last year. He really seems to value winning over all things.

Anyone that thinks Y is not a really good player doesn't know bball

Not sure how I feel about this game. Still looking good on offense. Looks like the team locked in a few trips for defense. It's definitely there but only when the crowd emplores them along, as a unit. Now, Hartman and Yogi will put it down all the time. I love these dudes.

Troy on the baseline is absolute electric

Improved defense...Maybe we are ranked 240 in defense after this fine performance
We should have blown that Mich team out.

#5 Wisky and Michigan St (at home) should of blown them out also but they didn't it took overtime for both teams to win. I give credit to beilien and his kids for playing there butts off being short-handed.
We all know what happens when an indiana kid comes back and plays in assembly hall

Exactly. This isn't a good Michigan team, but they have given the scare a few times now. End of the day, a win is a win.

Mich does play hard. And they play better defense than we do. Even if Walkons are getting playing time. Thing about defense is it is useful in keeping you in games you have no business being in. See iu/wisky

It's only IU man.  IU should have blown them out.  I thought the game would be fairly close and um has the ability to hit big shots down the stretch.

My dream: we beat UK in the tournament. 40 seconds left, we're up 10+ and Hanner throws down a backboard shattering dunk and the last 40 seconds get delayed so Kentucky has to suffer for an extra hour.

I call this a long shot but it doesn't hurt to dream.

It is very difficult to play team D when a few players don't. Blackmon is a great offensive player but as lazy as it comes on D and that kills us.

If Crean can get Blackmon to play as hard on D as he does on offense then our entire team D will improve.

Agree. Same can be said for Troy, though his issues are a bit different than James'

We are close but close isn't good enough.

I feel like Troy plays ADHD defense.  If he just concentrated on his man and looks to help without completely losing his man he could be a really good defender.  He could elevate the entire defense too.
