Purdue Post Game Thread

Hopefully. Crean has THREE MILLION reasons why he should not have snapped at Fisch. He’s paid to prepare this team, and when that doesn’t happen, take the heat for it.

Yup. But we all say/do dumb stuff when we're pissed. Money doesn't change our inability to act mature in the midst of our worst moments. But I wish I had 3 mil in the bank to look at after saying something stupid to a coworker

Did anyone else get the feeling that there is something going on between Yogi and JBJ? Not looking to stir up anything, but I got the distinct feeling that they aren’t best of friends, and I’ll leave it at that.

I've thought that with several of them. I would like some of our insiders to shed light on team dynamics. Those 2 should gel well.

That was awful.  Embarrassing, actually.  The lack of effort from everyone not named Yogi and Zeisloft  (and at times Stan) was maddening.  Purdue wanted it more, no question.  But, this game proves that HMP is a lot more valuable than maybe we all thought.

Without HMP, Purdue is the worst possible matchup for us other than Wisconsin.  Not only in being able to exploit us in the post, but by letting Hammons play ten feet off Troy and camp in the lane defensively and stop any penetration was killer.  Doing that essentially eliminated Troy offensively and let the guards get up in us on the perimeter, and it took away almost every clean look from 3.  Defensively, we have a boat load of poor perimeter defenders.  JBJ, Z, Max, Colin, and Troy are all below average or worse. They get blown by with ease constantly, and having zero rim protection results in teams shooting like 65% from 2 or whatever ridiculous number it has been lately.

Do we win that game with Hanner?  No.  Is it a lot more competitive?  I think so.

I honestly still see us getting to 12-6, or 11-7 at worst in the B1G.  We'll get them back at the Hall.  Today didn't really change anything.

So how is everyone feeling about our Canada Trip and our players gelling, etc?? Even if we make the NCAA and we might, any decent team will smash us into oblivion. Hard to get my hopes up.

Team looks a lot better than last year. Looks more like a team that likes each other. Tonight changes nothing about this season.

. Hopefully till they drop and I'd let Yogi blow the whistle. Another Another Another Another Another another.....

Tell everyone to run, except yogi. He's blowing the whistle per Crean's orders. Wonder how long it'd take yogi to get out there and run with them? Not long, I'd bet.

Ballantine 109. It's usually pretty interesting. He is extremely informative and we mostly talk current events in sports with 20ish minutes of actual lecture notes.

What course is it? Can't hurt to put that on my watch list for next semesters classes haha

Love Yogi. Wish we could give him a team to dominate with. I feel really bad for Yogi and not just

this game. It's been a theme.

I feel bad for him too. He thought he was committing to a really good program on the upswing only to have his career wasted.
