I'm not going to lie, if we win tomorrow afternoon, i'll be very impressed. 

 

 

Not getting my hopes up too much.. but the win Thursday night sure made me more positive on our future this season.

I feel like we're playing with house money. With our road success and the big win over MD, all the pressure is on OSU. We need to be aggressive from the tip. If we keep it close late, this team will find a way. Go Hoosiers!

I won't be surprised if we lose this, but I'm expecting to win. I think Yogi can keep Russell within 15 points, and OSU isn't great outside of him. Matta said he was going to play small ball with us, so he's starting Lee? I don't think Lee is even close to capable of guarding Hartman out at the perimeter and keeping up with our speed. If we can space well again, and push the tempo, this game is ours.

You know that's, that is what's crazy about that game. It felt like we had our tails absolutely stomped but we had a bench type line up in the floor playing with a little emotion and I think we came to within 15 or 16 but there was timeout and it stopped a run we had. That game was so hard to digest and we shot worse than I think I have ever seen a team shoot and we were just a couple of jumpers away from a single digit get and an on pour of new energy/belief that might have made that a fairly decent game.

That's what our offense is capable of. Teams can't just put us away easily. 15-20 points is not enough. That MSU game has done so much for this team.

And if Hartman is going to shoot north of 45% from the 3 line in conference, we need to rotate and get him 2 more looks from deep a game. He used to be way too unselfish and now he knows his team needs him to be an actual threat and keep the opposing center out of the middle.

We have to full advantage of that mismatch. That top of the key 3 he had was an absolute thing of beauty. Hartman sizing cats up lol. Screw 1st place, who saw that coming??

That tactic to their game plan is a mistake and waste of time.

 

 His game, I think, is just developing so every game for awhile here we could see a different Hartman.  He is a true Hickory-type Hoosier.  He will be all over the place, may foul out may not hit as many 3's, will block out, be physical and may dish off to his team mates.

 

  Bottom line,  his game could be like a "box of chocolates!! and difficult to game plan for.
