Mid-season forecast

Looking what's left of the season (Even though we just started the regular season)

I was looking ahead at the remaining games. Could we have a 20+ season? From what i was looking at, we very well could! take a look....understand, I just put a couple of "possible upsets" but...what are your thoughts?[attachment=1537:Slide1.JPG]

I think we're something like 12-2 in the last 14 home games against ranked opponents.

I agree mostly but I think probably 2 more losses. The Maryland game and an unexplainable loss...northwestern, penn st. Etc. I just think they will have that one loss that they shouldn't. Still a good season and much better than last year.

A nice 20 win season with some more resume wins, including the ones we already have, and we're tourney bound.

I think we can finish with 20+ wins. That should definitely be the goal. We could be a very dangerous team come tournament time in my honest opinion.

Saw that but Holt has played more than Perea in the last 2 games. He is playing well coming off the bench. I know the media has to create articles with something flashy but who cares who starts? I'm more concerned with who is getting the minutes. Nice to see Holt getting a little coverage though. Such a huge pick up for us

me too really. He stayed emotionally invested on the bench yesterday. I want it to work out for him. I don't get it. I think it's BB IQ that is the problem.

I don't like using Holt's 40-min stats to show how much better he is than Hanner. Until I see Holt play 25-30 minutes, those numbers don't mean anything. He's currently averaging 12 minutes a game. It'll be interesting to see how well conditioned he is as his PT picks up.

This will do HMP some good in the way of competition.  He can be a very good player I think even if he would take on about half the strive for excellence work ethic and dedication Vic did.

Hanner did show improvement a couple of times in the pre-conference season when Holt came in and played really well. Hanner managed to step it up a bit. Hope he can do it again.
