Thanks for the ASSIST.  I guess it could work both ways.  Maybe the other towels could say "Crean does no wrong" !  But my guess is you would NOT sell one of those--very one sided on here.

That made me laugh. Some people on here cry anytime you say something bad about crean or complain if anything is negative when a thread is clearly anti crean. Here's an idea if you don't want to see it don't click on threads that are anti crean. I've never understood why some of you complain about people complaining. You're doing the same damn thing.

Then you don't know me very well. 

 

The difference is some people NEVER have a good thing to say about Crean or are unwilling to give him credit---only blame. (Not referring to you) 

 

I gripe about Crean plenty-- but I will point out when I think he does something correct or is being unfairly attacked.  The point I was making above is I have not seen a poster on here yet that defends Crean on ALL things---but I can name you plenty who spew hate or give him credit for nothing.

 

And--I click on threads that are not anti-Crean---and then they get derailed which gets old too.

I suggest BTB sells crying towels with "Everything is Crean's Fault" printed on them---now that would be a huge seller on here!

 

Even better---how about BTB giving out discount coupons for anger management classes for those who hate all things Crean ---or for those of us angry with how Cat-Pauseish many in our fanbase have become!

With all due respect, Crean is the biggest part of IU basketball at this point and time. Slowly over the last 2 years he has lost his way with the fans. He has the absolute biggest impact on the team. That goes for recruiting and on the court. Crean has had his bright times and he was honored for them. BUT he's not THE guy to make us a perennial powerhouse as most fans want. I think it's fully appropriate to talk about Creans abundance of faults as of late.

If he were winning/keeping guys in line with the law/and recruiting well he would be getting his due praise. Problem is, he is lacking in all facets and the majority of fans are fed up.

We are only a step up in tradition from Pitt?  I'm no basketball historian, but they've only been to one final four in school history... And that single appearance happened before the US entered World War II.  

 

I'm going to go out on a limb here, but we might actually be a couple (or a few flights) of steps up in terms tradition over Pitt.  

What I am saying is, tradition is the only area we have an advantage...name recognition is just as good for them, they are on national television just as much...we have the advantage in tradition but that is about it.

But--what I am going to change is that unless I am attacked--I am not engaging in anymore back and forths that achieve nothing but waste time and energy. So Rutgers definitely won't be a gimme. Watching them against an ok Clemson squad and the Scarlett Knights aren't too bad. Their size and physicality will be a challenge and it will be fun to watch Yogi and their pg Mack go after it.
