This is why I hate when current players (Troy) and recruits (OG and others) get compared to Vic. Similar athletes? Sure. Do Vic and Williams share some stats and areas that needed improvement as sophomores? Sure.

The problem comes in when you're comparing people to a guy in VO that has an unmatched work ethic and tenacity. Playing hard or working hard was never an issue with VO. His intangibles are what set him apart and make comparisons to him very difficult.

So true. Vic is a guy you get once every 10-15 years if you are lucky. Every 6'4" to 6'7" kid that can jump is not a Vic.

Good news---that he's doing well.

I heard Crean was there watching Juwan.

Crean was probably about to lose his mind with a second knee injury to a player in the same week!

We've had a lot of the freak knee injuries.

Moe and Austin with the broken knee caps and now Hanner with a dislocation.

Maybe we've had them before but I cant remember a patella injury before those two ever.

  Just lucky I guess.

You might find this encouraging

"Less than 48 hours after he limped off the court on a badly bruised leg, Morgan looked like a brand new man. He shot 4 of 6 on 3-pointers and grabbed 11 rebounds"

JM 27 the competition 25.

Thanks for the update--HoosierHoops1 !

Great news and great play by Juwan!
