Hovadipo Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 No, I agree. I feel like I should not have posted that because people are going to interpret it that way. Obviously SU leads now, but he hasn't been to IU so there is definitely still a shot. I actually thought you posted it making fun of SU for being too quick on the trigger haha. And yeah I think the real evaluation should come after he visits. This campus + fall + homecoming + Hova bear hug = 5* Center wearing candies next year. IUHoosier5 Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Really hoping the rain clears by the time Friday rolls around for his visit so he can truly enjoy his experience of walking the campus during the fall rebelhoosier848891 1 Quote

Would jump to #2 n #247Sports Composite per Class Calculator bit.ly/1u6cQso Syracuse Basketball @syracusebball Jerry Meyer of 247sports is hearing from multiple sources that Syracuse will land 2015 5-star Thomas Bryant over Indiana. #OrangeRecruiting I feel like the SU account kind of took what Meyer was saying too far...? Or is there more from Meyer to make them say that? They're getting it from this.Jerry Meyer @jerrymeyer247 2m2 minutes agoHearing Syracuse from multiple sources. Lure of home. Stuhoo Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 You know what? I'm not gonna derail the thread, but I'm gonna say it, and I'm gonna risk others derailing the thread. Here goes: I know that Boeheim has a National Championship and is a Hall of Fame coach, but for an 18 year old recruit with a passion for the game...Jim Boeheim can't compete with Tom Crean. There...I said it cause it's true. :yahoo: hoosha61, rebelhoosier848891, Andrew_114 and 1 other 4 Quote

Stuhoo Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 how so? At this stage of his career, Boeheim has slipped pretty far into figurehead status. His assistants do a lot of the coaching; he is the father figure and final decision maker. On Tom Crean, from today's Ft. Wayne Sentinel article: "In practice, Crean paces the Assembly Hall floor, seeing nearly everything, pushing and prodding, encouraging and emphasizing. He demonstrates with passion -- getting into a defensive stance, surging into proper position, SHOWING rather than telling. He shouts to “rip it” and “attack” on offense, to “never dance with the ball” on defense. VERSUS: Jim Boeheim explains sleeping photo: "It was before the game. It wasn't during the game.": rebelhoosier848891, Hovadipo, thebigweave and 3 others 6 Quote

BubbleKnuts Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Let's not do a smear campaign on Syracuse and Boeheim. They've smoked us two years in a row. Let's let the coaches do their jobs and us as hoosier fans, hope for the best because if there was something we could do, we all know, (nationwide) we would do it.
