JaybobHoosier Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 How are the Lady Hoosiers expected to finish this year? I don't get to keep up with them like I want. Quote
ccgeneral Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 I kept thinking, as I was typing, that someone would get this typed faster than me, lol lol. Thanks for the updates folks. Just keep plucking away! JaybobHoosier 1 Quote
JSHoosier Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 The team has 8 assists to just 3 turnovers in the half. Good ratio, but I wouldn't draw much from this game it's just an exhibition against DII competition. HoosierReb01 and ccgeneral 2 Quote
TheWatShot Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 How are the Lady Hoosiers expected to finish this year? I don't get to keep up with them like I want. The only place I could find any sort of Big Ten prediction was the Big Ten website, and it was the coaches' predictions at media day which only show the top 3 (I think it was Maryland, MSU and Iowa). Agreed- tough to find info on WBB. I've tried to keep up on recruiting/projections, but very little out there. JaybobHoosier, HoosierReb01 and ccgeneral 3 Quote

ccgeneral Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 Indiana WBasketball @IndianaWBB Brooks with a slick no look pass to find Buss for layup while being fouled. Hoosiers on 18-1 run over last 6:20. #iuwbb #GoIU mamasa, HoosierReb01 and JaybobHoosier 3 Quote
JSHoosier Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 With about 14 minutes left Tyra Buss knocks down her first 3 as a Hoosier, assisted by Cahill. The way she can shoot the ball I got the feeling there will be many more. ccgeneral, thebigweave, HoosierReb01 and 2 others 5 Quote

ccgeneral Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 Our girls are doing some work! Well Done Hoosiers! Indiana WBasketball @IndianaWBB Amanda Cahill rips down her 10th rebound. Add her 13 points to that, something we call a DOUBLE-DOUBLE. #iuwbb #GoIU Indiana WBasketball @IndianaWBB Tyra Buss with another steal, and another layup. 22 points, 4 steals. #iuwbb leads 70-40 with 7:14 to go. #GoIU 323SGrant, JaybobHoosier and WayneFleekHoosier 3 Quote
biteoftheapple Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 How are the Lady Hoosiers expected to finish this year? I don't get to keep up with them like I want. ESPN has the IUWB as the 11 pick in the league. ccgeneral, JaybobHoosier and Hutch89 3 Quote
JSHoosier Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Handling a DII team, which we should expect to do. Some nice individuals performances by Buss and Cahill notably and Brooks with 7 assists, but I'd advise against reading much into performances against DII competition. Agler's line isn't very impressive even against a DII team, but hopefully she turns it around I liked watching her last season. 323SGrant, JaybobHoosier and ccgeneral 3 Quote

Hovadipo Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Really not surprised by the 3 guard lineup, although I didn't realize Buss and Agler were listed at 5'7 and 5'9 respectively. I didn't think they were that tall. Tyra's 5'7 is an inch or 2 generous. Quote
JSHoosier Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Tyra's 5'7 is an inch or 2 generous. That's why I said listed heights. I don't put much stock in those, I usually figure they're about an inch exaggerated. Quote

Hoosiers gonna look good this year. #workethic :ninja: :assassin: Indiana WBasketball @IndianaWBB Freshman @tbuss3 led the Hoosiers with 26 points on 10-of-15 shooting and tallied five of the team's 13 steals in the game. #iuwbb #GoIU Indiana WBasketball @IndianaWBB Steal leaders for #iuwbb today: Buss - 5 Leikem - 2 Cahill - 2 Hutch89, WayneFleekHoosier, mamasa and 2 others 5 Quote
brtjohns Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 uindy wbb is an above average d2 program, a good pick for the season-opening competition. their coach, constantin popa, is the tallest coach in ncaa history at 7'3". played for the miami hurricanes. the image of him standing next to coach moren in the postgame line, ha. she probably hurt her neck.
