That could have (maybe should have) been an and 1. Minny escapes 68-67. The Big Ten is terrible this season.

With that said, I still think Mich St is the best team in the country. I know they lost to Duke but that was really early in the season. I like what I see most from them right now. The rest of the Big 10 though is mostly down. 

Biggest surprise: Ohio State - it's only two Big 10 games but my initial thought is Chris Holtmann is a really good coach. I think they have less talent than us this year due to all of the transfers/guys leaving under Thad.

With that said, I still think Mich St is the best team in the country. I know they lost to Duke but that was really early in the season. I like what I see most from them right now. The rest of the Big 10 though is mostly down.

Bates-diop is actually playing like the top 30 player he was coming out of high school. That’s helped them tremendously this year. I think people forgot about him since he missed a lot of time with an injury last year

I would take Tate in a heartbeat too. That kid is undersized but fights his backside off to get boards and putbacks. He's the present day AJ Moye.

MSU could still be pretty good if Jaren Jackson "loves school" the way that Miles Bridges does. Winston, Langford, Ward, and Jackson along with whoever else they have it bring in will be solid.

I could see a drop from Minny and pu with the players they'll be losing. Maryland should still be pretty good unless they lose some early to the NBA. Penn State should still have their 2016 class intact.

The Big Ten usually depends on upperclassmen and good systems. The conference will need an influx of talent to compete for Final Fours and national titles though.

The only reason there's a snowballs chance in hell Jackson would be staying is if a "neat" story was made and he had a chance to be NPOY. Izzo doesn't get many one and dones..
