Really wonder what Peterson's future is.  Seems to be injury prone.

It would worry me if I’m the GM. A lot of talent out there. Kid is probably gonna be great but it adds a difficulty to the choice for sure.

Put him on a better roster with a good coach and he’s capable. If he’s our 1 and Bidunga our 5 we’re aren’t missing the tournament.

Hopefully he makes the tourney this year so he can experience it once in his career.

Sure. Is your point he’s not a winning player or we wouldn’t be better with him?

If I’m coach I sell him and Bidunga a 2 million dollar dream and we win a bunch of basketball games.

I don’t have point.  Just hope he makes the tourney this year.  I’m not much for playing the what if game or fantasize about who IU could have.  They have who they have.  I let others worry about that.

Gotcha. Yeah it’s DeVries job to figure that out. Unfortunately I’ve lost faith in him already on this build.

I can be won back. Hopefully he gets more resources next off-season and the assistants go to work behind the scenes.

It’s basketball.  he could get more resources and get everyone you want him to get and still not figure it out or lose unexpected games.   Wade at NC State I’m pretty sure went out and got the roster he wanted and spent a ton of money on and he is 7-4 and lost to Seton Hall which is on of the worst NIL power 5 teams.  Spending money doesn’t guarantee wins

I’m no Wade fan but Seton Hall is currently 50th on Kenpom. We lost to Minnesota.

On the road and Seton Hall was projected to be the bottom of the Big East because their NIL is terrible.  However Holloway is coaching his butt off this year and getting everything he can out of those players.
