That Hurley is one class act. 

Not only does he blame the refs for the loss, but he throws a Memphis player under the bus. 

On the questionable call -- for which Danny Boy got T'd up -- he said McNeeley got the rebound because the Memphis player made a "half-a$$ed effort to rebound that basketball." 

You wanna attack officials, that's fine. You wanna attack your own players, that's fine. You wanna attack opposing players, that's out of line -- IMO. If I'm Penny, I'm asking him to meet me in the alleyway to have a little chat about that.

Iowa St up 17 over auburn in the first half.   Top 5 matchup.   Defense in this game is crazy.  Elite defense by Iowa st

I love me some North Texas basketball.  I don't know if they are still running the same system they ran since their coach left for Texas Tech, but I remember them playing great defense and on offense running a very efficient but time consuming offense.

Hurley thought since he whined and cried the whole game they would have let it go.  However the thing is they did let a bunch go in the first half after he through his 9th temper tantrum of the half.  They went a good 5 min not calling things on UConn they should have.   He doubled down afterwards as well.  I hope he it costs him down the road with some refs

There were a ton of fouls and free throws in the game.  Think it was a really physical game.  But Hurley tends to be in the school of 'my team is good and they don't need to foul' thought.  Great coach but insufferable.  Funny thing is that typically when a player gets a foul called on them in that situation they typically react.  McNeeley didn't.....because he knew.
