I never slammed a guys head into the court at 18. I'm not sure what was out of line by calling the act classless and moronic. You're on national tv you have to conduct yourself above reproach.

Exactly South.  I would say the same thing if it was a Hoosier that did it too.  No sense in that type of action.  That one little act could now have cost them the big ten title.

I am sticking with my original comment, now that the Blackmon thing is cleared up. Bryant has struggled on the defensive end exactly like they said. Happ abused him for sure. Costello worked him too. Olah, I don't remember but that blurb is right. I like Bryant, but his lateral quickness, lack of hops, and youth makes for a weaker low post defender. His length is his saving grace. Clearly not all those points were scored against Bryant but he was/is our primary post defender and those players had field days.

He needs a lot of work on the defensive end. For sure. Terrible in ball screen situations.

Gonna be great if we have a 2 game lead going into that final game.  And they can just anguish over the fact they blew it

Lynch mob is out for Turgeon right now.

Don't blame the coach, blame that moron Stone.  Nice character, real classy!  Not....

I guess part of the blame can go to that crew too.  How in the world do you not look at that on replay and toss a Stone?  I'm not sure they would have won as they looked flat and Melo was tossing the ball all over the Barn.

Edit:  And yes, that was a classless act.  I know you can play the "what if" game all you want but Brown could have very easily sustained major injury.  What if Brown would have actually been knocked out cold and missed weeks under the concussion protocol?

ESPN on Minnesota's win over Maryland

"No Diamond Stone for the Terps, he was suspended for this one because of a shoving match against Wisconsin"

Huh? I don't know why this gets at me as much as it does but it feels like everyone is just ignoring the details.

With the emphasis the NCAA, both football and basketball, and the NFL have put on shots to the head, I can't believe ESPN would try to water this down to a shoving match. Concussions can be a serious consequence that leave lasting damage that we still yet do not understand. I applaud Maryland for stepping up and doing the right thing even though it may have cost them a chance at an outright regular season B1G title. Shame on ESPN for trying to belittle the possible severity of this outburst.
