Don’t want to be a skeptic (but I am), it’ll be interesting to see if Flip misses any time from this. I think being on the losing team then having randos run into to you can be an easy case for over-exaggerating.

Either way, I can see why it needs to stop or at least be delayed until opposing team leaves court.

I don’t think so. The person jumped to avoid him. Had purse or bag in their hand. Landed on his foot or twisted legs with him.

Yeah. ESPN just showed an above-the-court angle.

Nobody took a swing at Filipowski, but someone did give him a little push from behind. Looks like in trying to avoid getting run into, and actually getting run into -- he got knocked off balance a little and sprained his ankle.

They need to because somebody will get seriously injured. When they first started it was kind of fun but now it is just a dangerous thing. First time I remember seeing court storms were in championship week and the championship game was on a teams home court. Now it seems legit me about any under dog winning at home you see one.

They should ban them regardless. People storming the court when you bet a ranked conference opponent that isn’t #1 is ridiculous anyways. It’s basically the fans making the game about themselves.

As anticipated.

Overhead view shows he positions to 2 hand push the fan in front of him. As leg is extended the same fan being pushed clips his knee/ankle. This is almost exactly the Caitlin Clark scenario. Flip definitely had his leg hit though, BUT he was taking an aggressive action.
